Abstract
A high performance liquid chromatographic method for the determination of endogenous formaldehyde in dimedone adduct form in biological samples is described. The simple procedure involves extraction of the formaldehyde of different binding force in biological samples with methanol containing dimedone as the capture molecule and separation on a C18 reversed phase column with methanol as eluent. Keywords
