Abstract
A recently characterized class of adhesive, high MW glycoproteins is present on the surfaces of cells [embryonic, adult fibroblasts, e.g., chicken], in connective tissue matrices and in extracellular fluids. These proteins may be important in cellular adhesion, malignant transformation, RES function and embryonic differentiation. Keywords
