Abstract
Although carcinoma of the pancreas characteristically affects persons of middle or advanced age, it should be considered as a possible diagnosis in any case in which the symptoms are compatible with such a lesion. The authors discuss the occurrence of primary metastasizing carcinoma of the pancreas in two persons less than 20 years of age. They conclude that in rare cases malignant nonfunctioning islet cell tumors may present as obstructive jaundice. Keywords
