Abstract
The bullfrog, considered one of the most aquatic of frogs, is reported hibernating on land during the winter of 1950-51 in s.-e. Michigan. The frog terminated its hibernation between March 27 and April 3 and was subject to subfreezing temps. in its hibernating niche.
