The Tempo of Country Music and the Rate of Drinking in Bars

Abstract
Two observers recorded the music being played in 3 Montana, USA bars on 3 Friday evenings and measured the rate of drinking (sips) of 3 patrons in each bar. There was a significant correlation between the tempo of the music and the sip-rate: the slower the music the faster the patrons drank.
