RESEARCH NOTES. ORGANIZATIONAL COMMITMENT: A COMPARISON OF AMERICAN, JAPANESE, AND KOREAN EMPLOYEES.

Abstract
The article discusses a study pertaining to the compared levels of organizational commitment among U.S., Japanese, and Korean employees. Organizational commitment in this context refers to the relative strength of an individual's identification with and involvement in a particular organization. Researchers utilized the self-reporting technique to measure levels of organizational commitment. Subjects were asked to complete an organizational commitment questionnaire. The study indicates that the level of commitment was significantly higher among U.S. employees. The levels of commitment among the Japanese and Korean employees were similar.
