MBA CONCENTRATION ON ENTREPRENEURSHIP

Abstract
Although a few universities have offered MBA concentrations on entrepreneurship or new-venture development, there is very little evidence relating to the success of these programs. This study describes the activities of graduates of one such program at the University of Calgary. The results suggest that such programs have potential to support regional economic development. This survey shows that those concentrating on entrepreneurship are more entrepreneurial by measure of past accomplishments and are more likely to pursue entrepreneurial ventures in the future.
