Abstract
The ionic transparency of a grid submitted to an ionised gas flow under various electrical and mechanical conditions is evaluated. A mathematical model is used, which gives simple analytical expressions for both the electrical field and the ionised gas flow. An agreement is found with experimental results for a flow obtained from a corona discharge.Keywords
