Abstract
Extract Very little has been published about pyloric stenosis in cats. Wilkinson (1966) Wilkinson, G. T. 1966. Diseases of the Cat., 62–62. Oxford: Pergamon Press. [Google Scholar] states “stenosis of the pyloric sphincter is a rare congenital condition of the kitten or young cat”, and Reed (1964) Reed, J. H. 1964. Feline Medicine and Surgery, 185–185. Illinois: American Veterinary Publications. [Google Scholar] also states “pyloric stenosis (congenital) is very rare”. Joshua (1950) Joshua, J. O. 1960. Vomiting in the Cat. Mod. vet. Pract., 41: 36–42. [Google Scholar] has seen cases very suggestive of pyloric stenosis in adult cats. Keywords
