Abstract
The unbalance caused by connecting a generating station to a large load center by an untransposed series-compensated 500,000-volt bundled-conductor transmission line is analyzed digitally. Calculations are made by representing each conductor individually. Currents and voltages on the line and at apparatus terminals under both normal and faulted conditions are computed. Power angle curves of each phase are plotted. Various methods of decreasing the unbalance are presented. Keywords
