Abstract
The Barkhausen noise is calculated for ferromagnetic cores used in magnetic amplifiers. The method of analysis follows that used in the analysis of the shot effect. The signal-to-noise ratio for a typical magnetic amplifier circuit is calculated and compared with experiment. This publication has 3 references indexed in Scilit:
