Abstract
Spin‐spin interaction has been evaluated for all the atoms with p n and d n configurations using the radial functions calculated from numerical Hartree‐Fock wavefunctions. The magnitude of the interaction is much smaller than the orbit‐orbit and spin‐other‐orbit interaction and may in most practical cases be neglected. Keywords
