ROENTGENOGRAPHIC FINDINGS OF MALIGNANT EXTERNAL OTITIS

Abstract
Five cases of malignant external otitis are reported and discussed. The roentgenographic findings obtained by conventional and tomographic study are described. The history and clinical findings in these patients are usually sufficient to diagnose this entity. However, the roentgenographic examination allows an accurate evaluation of the extent and progression of the process.
