Abstract
The scientific objectives and the observational strategy of asteroseismology from space are presented. The projects proposed in different contexts are briefly reviewed, with a particular emphasis on the COROT experiment, now accepted for a launch in 2001 in the framework of the french “Petites Missions” program. Keywords
