Abstract
Time-resolved donor-acceptor luminescence provides the main parameters of magnetic polarons bound to acceptors in Se. Time resolved polarization of this emission with H∥c in the Faraday geometry reveals the freezing of the polaron orientation at low temperature. This is related to the gyromagnetic factor =0 for the hole in wurtzite crystals, leading to a bistable magnetic polaron.
