Abstract
Summary: The CF, HI and neutralization tests have been used to assay the antibody content of sera from animals and man following vaccination with killed measles virus and/or natural infection with the live virus. The CF test was demonstrated to be the least sensitive method of assay. The HI test was found to be as sensitive to measles antibody as the neutralization test and the titers obtained by the two methods closely parallel one another. The utilization of the HI test for large scale measles serology should result in considerable saving in time and reagents with no loss of reliability. Keywords
