Abstract
T conorhini has been cultivated in a diphasic blood agar medium when incubated at ap-prox. 24 C. Parasites failed to grow at 37 C. Culture forms maintained at 24 C were infective to rats after 8 mos. growth in vitro. The strain of T conorhini was isolated from the blood of a rat inoculated with the gut contents of an infected Triatoma rubrofasciata from Hawaii. This publication has 0 references indexed in Scilit:
