Abstract
At a meeting of occupational health personnel in October 1992, it was revealed that although 70 per cent of the participants represented companies with a workforce of more than 100 employees, only 35 per cent of these had a policy for coping with the problems of headache. This article reviews the most common types of headache presented to occupational health nurses, and suggests means of helping employees to cope with them.
