Abstract
We construct and discuss cosmological perturbations for a wide class of exact flat FRW background solutions deduced from scalar-tensor theories in which the scalar field φ is minimally or nonminimally coupled with the geometry. The perturbation potential in our models depends on a free parameter. The free parameter and hence the potential can be constrained by comparing the obtained spectrum of density perturbations with observed galaxy correlations and anisotropy of the microwave background radiation. Keywords
