Abstract

Within the last ten years or so, research work has made abundantly clear the causes and consequences of drifting, and has led to practical methods of solution. Much of this research was done by Dr. S. Cameron Jay in the Department of Entomology, University of Manitoba, Winnipeg, Canada. Here he summarizes the findings of his own and other work.
