Abstract
An electrolysis cell has been devised, using a thin ribbon‐shaped capillary, which permits the measurement in a single experiment of the resistivity, the electrolytic mobility, and the diffusion rate in a single sample of liquid alloy. The apparatus has been used to study cadmium amalgams at 25° and 150°C, and the results are found to agree with existing data for each of the three properties. Results on other systems and an overall interpretation are reserved for a subsequent paper. Keywords
