Abstract
Gas formation was observed in the infarcted tissues of 2 patients after renal tumor embolization. There was no clinical evidence of abscess, which would have required special treatment, at the site of infarction. This is postulated to be part of the post-infarction syndrome, analogous to the appearance of gas in the fetal tissues after intrauterine death. This publication has 0 references indexed in Scilit:
