Abstract
Measurements have been made of the stress dependence of the thermal conductivity of seven samples of p-type germanium in the temperature range 1-4K. The data provide information on the static deformation potential of the ground state of the acceptors which agrees with previous values and confirms that the acceptor wavefunctions depart significantly from s-like character. Keywords
