Abstract
Aphids (Myzus persicae) are attracted to potato plants when they are sprayed with Bordeaux because of increased intensity of light reflected from the sprayed surfaces. The insects appear to follow the inverse-square law of light intensities. Black dust proved effective in reducing infestations of cabbage aphids Brevicoryne brassicae. This publication has 1 reference indexed in Scilit:
