Abstract
Pollen grains from 150 Nigerian woody plants, comprising over 60% of the recognised climatic indicator species of the forest and savanna zones, are described, many of them for the first time. 73 are also illustrated. Some of the observations made are compared with those of earlier investigators. Intra-specific variations were noted. Keywords
