Abstract
The aging effect of Fe-Cr alloys at 500°C has been investigated by using the Mössbauer effect and the magnetic measurement. From the comparison between the Mössbauer patterns of the quenched and the aged specimens, it has been revealed that the anomalous behaviour of some physical properties associated with aging of the specimens is possibly due to the simultaneous precipitation of Fe-rich and Cr-rich phases.
