Abstract
The admn. of 0.1 ml. CCl4/100 g. of body wt. to albino rats caused an alteration of the pyroninophilic structures of the animals'' livers. The structures completely disappear from the central part of the lobule. It is suggested that disturbed protein metabolism in liver cells is one of the earliest effects of CCl4. poisoning. Keywords
