Abstract
Theoretical photoionization cross sections, angular distributions, and spin-polarization parameters for outer and subshells of the group- elements zinc, cadmium, and mercury are determined above their respective thresholds. Account is taken of electron-electron correlation and of the spin-orbit interaction by means of the relativistic random-phase approximation. Comparisons are made with previous theoretical work and with available experimental measurements.
