Abstract
We present the results of an in-house demonstration of the Totally Transparent Optical Subscriber System (TTOSS) which shows that the system can be operated with present-day direct detection systems. In addition, we show that TTOSS can be gradually adapted for coherent system use without modifications to the permanently installed part of the system. Keywords
