Abstract
A sensitive and specific gas chromatographic method using a nitrogen detector for the measurement of trimipramine plasma concentrations is described. This method was used to determine the relative bioavailability and some pharmacokinetic parameters of two formulations, tablets and capsules, in healthy volunteers. It was concluded the tablet and capsule formulations were pharmacokinetically equivalent. Keywords
