Abstract
Ninety patients who had previous retinal detachment surgery involving diathermy were studied for sensitivity to scotomatic glare and were examined for vitreous turbidity. A positive correlation is demonstrated between the level of illumination required for recognition of a target in the presence of a glare source and the scatter of light in the vitreous. Keywords
