Abstract
The FDTD algorithm is used to simulate a two element active antenna which is capable of three different coupled oscillation modes. This analysis correctly predicts which modes will be stable in the steady state under different loading conditions. The predicted oscillation modes, oscillation frequencies and radiation patterns are compared with experimental data. Keywords
