Abstract
Reflux eosophagitis is one of the most common chronic disorders in humans. While ultimately due to contact of esophageal epithelium with gastric acid and pepsin, the pathogenesis of the condition remains poorly understood. In the present manuscript, some key clinical aspects of this condition are briefly reviewed, including pathogenesis, complications, diagnosis, and treatment. Keywords
