Abstract
Fresh sera from normal adult rabbits, guinea-pigs, and rats contain a factor which causes rapid flagellar immobilization and rounding of the leptomonad forms of Leishmania. The factor is absent or present in very small amounts in the sera of mice and gerbils, and variably absent or present in the sera of hamsters. Keywords
