Abstract
The masking level difference (MLD) was studied in 9 normal subjects, in 15 patients with conductive hearing losses, in 9 subjects suffering from Menière's disease, and in 8 subjects with sensorineural hearing losses Results showed that MLD's size not depend on the conductive impairement but it may be affected by the degree of the deafness both in Menière's disease and in sensorineural lesionsKeywords
