Carbon-13 NMR Spectra of Some Furanoid Diterpenes from Teucrium Species

Abstract
By 13C and 1H NMR methods, the proposed constitution of 11 newly isolated furanoid diterpenes [from T. montanum, T. chamaedrys, T. scordium and T. polium] and some of their transformation products are confirmed and relative stereochemistries were established. CD [circular dichroism] spectra provide the absolute stereochemistry for teucrin A, 6-ketoteuscordin, teuscordinone and montanin D.
