Quantitative Bestimmung der Bitter-Quassinoide von Quassia amara und Picrasma excelsa

Abstract
The bitter tasting quassinoids of Q. amara and P. excelsa [medicinal plants] were quantitatively estimated by direct photometry after DC-separation, high pressure liquid chromatography method and densitometry after circular chromatographic separation. The 3 methods given comparable results and can be considered as new alternative estimation methods to the sensoric analytical method.
