Theoretical models for the angular distribution of massive muon pairs produced in hadronic collisions

Abstract
We point out that accurate measurements of the angular distributions of direct muons produced in hadronic collisions will have important consequences for various theoretical models for such processes. A number of models based on concepts of quark-partons and gluons are discussed within the context of the preliminary data available at present.Keywords
