Immunofluorescence Assay for Antigen and Antibody in Lactic Dehydrogenase Virus Infection of Mice

Abstract
Summary: An immunofluorescence method to demonstrate infected cells and antibody was developed for lactic dehydrogenase virus infection of mice. Macrophages in the spleen and Kupffer cells in the liver contained viral antigen between 18 and 36 hr post-infection. Mice developed an antibody response to viral antigen by 6 days post-infection.
