Abstract
Seven cases of retinal cavernous hemangioma were presented. Three cases were followed for more than 6 yr, and 3 cases between 1-2 yr. Six cases had no eye symptoms related to the vascular tumor, while in 1 case vitreous hemorrhage occurred on 2 occasions. On both these occasions full vision was regained. None of the vascular tumors were treated. Two patients had grand mal seizures. They also had convulsive disease in the family history. In 3 cases family members of 2 generations were found to have normal eyes on examination. Keywords
