Abstract
A 20-year-old woman developed ataxia, extrapyramidal movements, myoclonus, and progressive dementia. Brain biopsy disclosed status spongiosus, diagnostic of Creutzfeldt-Jakob disease; this is the youngest spontaneous case ever reported. Creutzfeldt-Jakob disease can occur in young adulthood. Keywords
