Contribution a l'etude du Gothlandien du Sahara; bassins d'Adrar Reggane et de Fort-Polignac

Abstract
Certain details of the Gotlandian (Silurian) stratigraphy of the Sahara have been clarified on the basis of a rich graptolite fauna collected from borings and sections in the Reggane and Fort-Polignac basins (Algeria). It is established that datable lower Llandoverian beds are absent, and that the sea which invaded the whole Sahara since middle Llandoverian time was epicontinental in character.
