Abstract
The emission phenomena of free charge carriers in vacuum (10-5-10-6 Tr) were studied. The investigations of emission of free charge carriers in vacuum as a symptom of the pyroelectric properties of TGSe, TGS, TGFB monocrystals have shown a closer relation to the ferroelectric state changes of the investigated ferroelectrics as compared with free charge carrier emission in air atmosphere. Similar experiments with pyroelectric BeO samples have also been conducted. This investigation with TGS led to an estimation of the maximum value of the kinetic energy of free electrons of about 0.13 MeV.Keywords
