Abstract
An automated S analyzer (ASA), which was developed for S analysis of coal and coke was evaluated for determination of total S in plant materials. Plant materials containing from 0.15-0.75% S were analyzed with precision and accuracy superior to other accepted methods which are more tedious and time-consuming. The direct reading unit is capable of making approximately 1 S determination every 3 min. Keywords
