Abstract
Glyoxylic acid cyanohydrin was found to be the principal cyanogen accumulating in cultures of snow mold, type B, strain W2, grown on media containing yeast and malt extracts. Small amounts of pyruvic acid cyanohydrin were also present. There was no evidence for presence of linamarin or lotaustralin in the cultures. Keywords
