Abstract
In a reversed geometry mass spectrometer first field free region fragmentations are usually detected by scanning the accelerating voltage. In some favourable instances, artifacts corresponding to second field free region processes are observed; the influence of a collision gas on their relative intensities is discussed. Keywords
