Interspecific responses were recorded for the males of 5 species of Trogoderma to the female extracts of each of 7 species of Trogoderma. All female extracts elicited some interspecies male response. From behavioral testing it appeared that the sex pheromones of T. inclusum LeConte, T. simplex Jayne, and T. variabile Ballion are very similar or have identical components. The pheromones of T. glabrum (Herbst) and T. sternale Jayne appear different from those of other species and from each other.
