Abstract
The pharmacokinetics of sulfadimethoxine was investigated in rabbits at 5 dose levels. A significant nonlinearity of dose dependent pharmacokinetics was demonstrated. A large dose dependent change in per cent of sulfadimethoxine bound to plasma proteins was shown. Apparently the nonlinearity of the pharmacokinetics of sulfadimethoxine is mainly caused by the dose dependent changes in per cent of drug bound to plasma proteins. Keywords
