Abstract
The polymers of monochloroacetaldehyde and dichloroacetaldehyde have been examined by infrared spectroscopy. They are homologues of polyformaldehyde, having the formula HO(CHR•O)nH. X-ray-diffraction powder photographs show that they are fairly crystalline. Keywords
