Abstract
A joint conference of the X-ray Analysis Group of The Institute of Physics, and the Low Temperature Group of the Physical Society, was held at the Clarendon Laboratory, Oxford, on 12 and 13 April, 1956. The theme included the study of structure and associated properties at low temperature, phase transitions, specific heat, thermal vibrations and absorption spectra, in both theoretical and experimental aspects. Keywords
